Poisonous is an illustration made on the first day of the Inktober 2018 which had the theme « poison / toxic ».

The Inktober is an annual event that takes place every October and offers artists a calendar with a different theme each day to develop their creativity and boost their productivity.

This event was created in 2009 by Jake Parker.

For this image, the idea was to use the theme “poison / toxic” to raise awareness about a subject that speaks for all, cigarettes with the smoke that forms a skullhead.

The hand comes from a model generated on DAZ 3D that I imported on Maya 2018 and then added procedural textures. The cigarette was modeled and then textured also procedural. For the smoke not yet having a machine powerful enough and knowledge to make something realistic, I chose to use Photoshop CC to do it.
